In Memory of Florence “Chitose“ Kodama
On behalf of the Windward Orchid Society, President Larry Kamiya and it’s members, we would like to express our sincerest condolences to Ben Kodama, Sr. and the Kodama family. We have so many fond memories of Florence and we will surely miss her.
The Kodama family has asked HOS to establish a fund in memory of Florence “Chitose” Kodama. The purpose of this fund would be to promote the art of orchid culture in Hawaii. Donations should be made payable to HOS (noted: In memory of Florence Chitose Kodama) and mailed to HOS Corp., P.O. Box 558, Hon. HI 96809.
Lost & Found
At our August meeting, we found a pair of glasses on the table and wondered if it belongs to you or someone you know. The frame is brown in color with dark black patches (similar to a cheetah or leopard). Please see Rae Ordinado at the next WOS meeting.
